HOW TO BECOME MORE PROFESSIONAL IN WORK PLACE

In present world if you want to be more successful then you have to be more professional in your career field. Being more professional in the office & your attitude can help you in many ways. You can gain respect from others even can get success in your life, your attitude also helps you to promote you more.

Many factors are there which shows you are more professional.

1. Be a good Competitor

You should do what you love, act like a winner always even you failed many time. Don’t show you are a loser or failure personality; it can affect your career a lot. Focus on your work first & keep others in secondary. Be a good competitor in positive sense, develop yourself & show the world you are eligible to be in Top.  You have the skills and knowledge that enable you to do your job well. That’s enough to make people feel jealous on you. Be a competitor with you, first make yourself perfect then looks at others.

2. Reliability.

Being talented in workplace is not that much important how Honesty, punctuality & Smart work matters. You may be talented but if you can’t utilize that in proper time & proper place then that seems worthless, so be smart & open your eyes every time to work better. Submit your work when it’s supposed to be ready, you’re working attitude & way of working process can helps you to win. You tell the truth and are upfront about where things stand.

3. Respect for Others

 In office there are people above than you & below than you. So treat people as per their position- Respect those whose position above than you (everyone do that) even respect those whose position below than you, behave as a friendly manner , no matter how lower position they may possess, your behavior towards your employee & boss helps you to get success in your career field. Be more tolerant in work place.

4. Being Positive.

Be always pessimist, your positive attitude shows how you are handling satiation, when you are in a company you have to work for your company your company loss is your loss & their benefit is your benefit, your positive attitude can give more confidence to your co workers & your employees even in company face loss. Having an upbeat attitude and trying to be a problem-solver makes a big difference.

5. Be a good listener & Supporting Others

Never underestimate the power of a common idea; sometimes we ignore small ideas when we are busy in building high dreams. To achieve in life you have to use Try & error method, first try the easiest one, if you fail try next hard one. Take suggestions from your employees & listen their ideas, sometimes they have us much better idea than you think. Listening Carefully, People want to be heard, so you give people a chance to explain their ideas properly. You share the spotlight with colleagues, take time to show others how to do things properly, and lend an ear when necessary.

6. Dress Code

Dress code really matters a lot in work place; your dressing style is a way to reach at your goal. Everyone can’t look beautiful but anyone can look smart .follow your work place dress code, be clean & looks smart. Different dress code for men and women and sometimes it can be different for each company. To remain professional in the office follow dress code. The more professional you look the more success you can get.  

7. Maintain a Professional Attitude

Being professional at work  define your success rate, it is not just about arriving on time , work all day and follow  dress code appropriately. It’s also about how you act & behave with others in work place. Make your surrounding a working environment. Stay away from offensive jokes and gossips about your boss , relations and partying in office hours , you can talk outside of your office or canteen& take a leisure time from work  for gossip but don’t waste time while you are working inside your cabin. Keep your focus on work while you’re there, and you’ll be perceived as being more professional & more successful if you follow that.

8. Separate Personal Time and Work Time

Maintain personal & professional life in balanced way helps us to get success up to 99%, take some time for your family, speaking to friends, or dealing with problems, it’s good to try and keep it separate from your work. To get more success, you have to change your attitude into professional type like even you hurt inside you have to smile & say HELLO to your employees & boss. Keep your minds in your work while dealing in any important project even you tense for your family. You have to be polite even you feel anger inside. Your whole appearance looks like Normal even you feel dying inside for your personal family problems as company not going to lose anything for your personal problems. Your attitude decides a company’s future & a company’s future means your employee’s futures too.

(FEW LINES ABOUT ME – I am an engineering passed out student (2014) my dream was to pursue my career in M-tech in computer software sector in a good college let’s see what result I am getting. I appear my GATE exam on 2015- February 6^th. My first priority is always Good College + branch. What mistake I did in my B-tech I don’t want to repeat same in M-Tech therefore I am trying to get that branch which is suitable for my future & where I can get success.   I have great interest in technology; my past failures taught me many lessons. Right now, I may not be in any job but have ideas how to work in effective way to get more successful as I am reaching on it. I am also trying to follow these 8 points in my institute where now I am doing my computer courses & trying to change my attitude to become more professional from now.
